A quarter of property professionals in the Middle East have admitted that their understanding of the real estate sector in Abu Dhabi is "poor", the results of a recent survey have revealed.
Conducted by Cityscape Abu Dhabi, the research was conducted as part of a study into how property investors get access to the information they need in order to make wise purchasing decisions, with just 14 per cent claiming to have "excellent" knowledge of the sector.
The comments are a clear sign that further rebuilding needs to be done in order to ensure that market is able to continue to grow and stabilise as projected over the next few years, the organisation added.
Chris Speller, group director of Cityscape Abu Dhabi, commented: "There is a clear need for the provision of easily accessible and straight forward information as the shape of the market continues to transform and diversify."
According to the firm, access to information on the industry is also severely lacking, with many calling for a more transparent processes to be put in place.
