At a meeting with German Chancellor Angela Merkel in Yekaterinburg, President Dmitry Medvedev has pledged to create comfortable conditions for foreign investors in terms of the Customs Union. In her turn, Mrs. Merkel expressed hope that Russia’s alliance with Kazakhstan and Belarus won’t impede the country’s swift accession to the World Trade Organization.
